The start of the list!

This list will be constantly updated , full of new or anticipated games, devices, sites, whatever! or things for you to do or make that you've either always wanted to or that you've never thought about doing until you see them here!

But first, here's some useful and free alternatives to programs that I have been asked to post.

Macromedia Flash: Films

Macromedia flash is expensive, to say the least, and isn't a choice for people who just want to animate for fun, or for the hell of it! These alternatives aren't as good but for people who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on expensive programs, these are perfect!

Pivot

Created by Peter bone, Pivot is an easy to set up, one hundred percent free program that is used for the development of stick figure animations. But as you'll soon discover, Pivot isn't limited to only stick men. Cars, planes and even film characters have been made with this simple program (which can be found on certain websites). And don't let the the lack of effects bother you, Beneton movie gif allows you to add blurs, to make your animations fuzzy, to rotate things and a lot more!

Macromedia Flash: Games

Ever wanted to make games? While flash is still better, you can still make games, that can be really fun, with liveswf. Check out a website like http://www.pryjon.com/liveswifers/forums/ for help with programming and any othe
r problems!

Photoshop

Photoshop is nearly useless for people who don't need a huge, expensive and coplicated program when all they need is to do is:
Edit pictures
Or draw basic art

The alternatives are both very well designed for each of these aspects. Gimp is an extensive program that can is much better than Mspaint-like alternatives and can be easily used. In five seconds you will be drawing Mona Lisa-esque drawing like my amazing walrus.Hell yeah.

But, fantastic as my mouse drawn walrus may be, it really doesn't reflect how good gimp is.

For picture editing, paint.net is all you would ever need. Again it's extensive, is of high quality and is updated regularly. Oh, it also made the top 20 best products of 2007, according to pc world.
